Creating a Culture of Evangelism Within the Local Church
Our Story
In 2010, Kevin Tallaksen, the founder of Permeate Evangelism, got saved at a youth mission trip just weeks before going to college. While at college, one of Kevin’s mentors was Chuck Harrison who had been training others in evangelism and doing evangelism on streets for decades. Kevin started sharing the gospel almost immediately and soon after began training others in evangelism.

When we consider the broader Church, there's a tendency to assign the responsibility of sharing the gospel solely to those in leadership or ministry roles. However, we believe that every Christian not only has the responsibility to share the gospel but also misses out on the joy it brings if they don't. Kevin has been actively involved in this mission since his college days, running evangelism trainings and encouraging people to integrate gospel sharing into everyday life. The work is now continuing through the team at Permeate Evangelism.
The trainings began in small settings and youth groups but has now expanded to church-wide and regional trainings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and even as far as India! We have organized multiple week-long trips where we train individuals in sharing the gospel on the streets with the end goal to integrate gospel conversations into their everyday lives. We are now excited to expand into a formal organization to create a culture of evangelism within the local church. This will include evangelism trainings, social media content, and opportunities to “go and do” to put the training into practice!

Evangelism Trainings
Many within the Church struggle to articulate the gospel, start conversations and answer common questions. We offer trainings at your churches which will launch believers into effective evangelism in everyday life. We also provide opportunities to come alongside churches for train the trainer sessions, follow-up trainings, outreaches & more.
Social Media Content
We create videos that will practically train you and the local churches in various aspects of sharing your faith in Jesus. In addition, we will have videos with interviews, live examples of evangelism & more resources to give you confidence to share the gospel.
"Go and Do"
We give opportunities to local churches and come alongside local churches to go and share the gospel at various outreaches and in street evangelism contexts. We are convinced that being able to share the gospel 5-10 times in one day will help you gain the confidence that you CAN share the gospel in everyday life.
