God created all people with a purpose to know Him and love Him. He created everything and it was good!

 

However, we all rebelled against God and His laws. This rebellion, called sin, separated us from God. Not only that, but it caused God to judge us as lawbreakers.

 

The Bible says that wages of sin is death. This means that we are all sentenced to death for breaking God's laws.

 

But God, in His love for all of humanity (you and me!), sent His one and only Son, Jesus, down to earth. Jesus was fully man and fully God.

 

While on earth, Jesus lived the perfect life that you and I never could. Meaning, Jesus never sinned.

So, when He died on the cross He was able take the place of all mankind. In other words, He died to take the punishment for your sins! He took the wrath of God upon Himself in your place.

 

Then, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death, offering the free gift of eternal life to anyone who would believe in Him.

 

In response to Jesus' great love and sacrifice, we are called to repent (turn from) our sin and believe in Jesus alone.

 

When you put your trust in Jesus, you will immediately be born again and adopted as a son/daughter of God. All of your sins will be forgiven.

 

Your relationship with God will be restored. You will be able to know Him and spend eternity in Heaven rejoicing over Jesus!
