Permeate's Go & Do training initiative is a practical, effective, and Holy Spirit powered way to translate training into reality.

We believe one of the most effective ways to create a culture of evangelism is to do it together. Seeing God's power in action, will train and encourage you to share the gospel in your everyday life with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and beyond.

Invite the Permeate team to come alongside your church to Go & Do evangelism. We can join you at your town's next local festival, campus outreach, sports event, etc. Or you can have a Certified Permeate Evangelist lead a local missions trip in evangelism for your church.

Our evangelists have been helping Christians share their faith on the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk for a collective 60+ years! We can testify to the effectiveness of Go & Do. A fire is lit within a Christian when they share the gospel for the first time.

FAQs

We understand that many people struggle with the idea of street evangelism! Permeate believes in using street evangelism as a training tool in order to get believers more comfortable and better equipped to share the gospel in their everyday lives.

With that said, let's address some frequently asked questions regarding Go & Do evangelism:

What if I'm uncomfortable?

We understand! We invite you to come and listen, possibly hand out tracts, and pray as our experienced team members share the gospel. This will give you an opportunity to watch God move as the gospel is proclaimed and hearts are changed, which will embolden you to share the gospel yourself!

What if I've never done this before?

That's great! Everyone has to start somewhere, and each of us has shared the gospel for the first time, just like you will be doing. Through our training, we will equip you to share the gospel in very simple terms. The Permeate team will be there to come to your aid whenever you need it.

What if I don't know enough?

No one will ever "know enough," so do not worry. We are not called to know everything, just to give an answer for the hope that we have. Who is our hope? Christ! All you have to know is Him, and you "know enough." You have a powerful testimony of salvation and the gospel of peace which is about to bring the dead back to life.

The Permeate team will be there to encourage you, answer questions, and help in difficult conversations. You will not be left alone.

Go & Do Youth Group

We at Permeate have had incredible success bringing youth out on domestic mission!

As teens transition into adulthood, it is crucial that they learn to make the faith their own. Evangelism is a truly effective way to do that!

This is accomplished by putting the youth's faith to the test in a real world setting. They are required to answer the hard questions, the real questions of life, defend the faith, and speak for themselves.

Permeate can help disciple your youth group through fulfilling the Great Commission alongside your church.

Whether it is during one of our immersive Ocean City, NJ outreaches, at a local town festival, or campus event, Permeate is ready to help.

The youth are surprisingly bold, flexible, and willing. After their time evangelizing they will bring new life back into your church. As they grow in their zeal for God, they will ignite the adults in your congregation, further creating the culture of evangelism we all desire.

God on the Boardwalk

Did you meet us on the boardwalk? Click here!

"God on the Boardwalk" is a special evangelism ministry tradition which started over 40 years ago. Permeate elder, Mr. Chuck Harrison, and his amazing, late wife Joan, began bringing out hand painted signs that said "Are you going to Heaven? Free Test."

In more recent years, Permeate evangelists have been sponsored by Greg Holloway, an OCNJ local businessman who is passionate about sharing the gospel on the boardwalk. Greg has generously donated houses for evangelists to stay in throughout the summer.

In our years sharing God on the boardwalk, we have seen many come to faith in Jesus. In outreaching to the same vacation spot year after year we have been able to minister to the same vacationers year after year, hear their stories of repentance and salvation, and see their growth.

We have also seen the limitless spiritual growth of our fellow brothers and sisters who share their faith for the first time on the boardwalk. We encourage everyone to come and see "God on the Boardwalk!"
